Welcome to Inner Essence Poetry. I created Inner Essence Poetry to help people access their full potential by tapping into the inner essence of their lives.

Inner Essence Poetry was born of my own experience. Despite an excellent traditional education at Brown, Tufts and Harvard Universities, I always sensed that there was more to life than meets the eye or could be found in classrooms. From a young age, I wrote poems and created art pieces that were beyond my years. I had a strong natural ability that I didn’t tell anyone about to sense events and trends ahead of time. I would hum the bars of symphonies I had never heard before moments before the music actually played on the radio. A lifelong lover of books and child poet, I was always drawn to esoteric novels about special powers and magic – Ursula LeGuin, Madeleine L’Engle, C.S. Lewis, J.R.R. Tolkein, Lloyd Alexander, Maria Szepes; biographies of the lives of brilliant misfits who broke social and intellectual molds – Grigori Rasputin, Marie Curie, Count Rakocsy; and accounts of secret groups – the Knights of the Round Table, the Illuminati, the Hermetic Philosophers, the Rosicrucians, the Freemasons, the Sufis, Essenes and Gnostics.

After building successful strategic forecasting, consulting and Internet careers in California and New York in the 1990s and achieving all of my goals by the age of 33, I faced several personal challenges that tested the limits of my traditional education, values and professional experience. Standing at this major crossroads, I discovered what I had been subconsciously searching for all my life – a body of ancient and universal teachings called the “energy arts”, which I learned through studies with several living “masters of energy”. Just as I was sensing that the bottom was about to drop out of the Internet business (Web 1.0), I joined the international organizations of one of these living masters of energy, M. Del Pe, as a student to deepen my understanding and as a senior executive to help bring the wisdom teachings to professionals, thought leaders and organizations around the world looking to achieve more and grow faster. After eight years of wisdom and inner development training with M. Del Pe and a 30-year detour away from my creative life as a poet and artist while focusing on my career, I established Inner Essence Poetry to help other highly-educated, achievement-oriented thought leaders, professionals and creative people access even greater potential, success and fulfillment in their lives while gaining more capacity to make a bigger impact in their chosen field(s).
